How to request deletion

  1. Open the Egas app and go to Settings > Account > Delete Account.
  2. Or email us at support@egas.com with the subject Account Deletion Request and include your name and linked phone number.
  3. We’ll verify your identity and confirm deletion within 7 business days.

Data deleted

  • Profile info (name, phone, email, profile picture)
  • Authentication data and OTP records
  • Preferences, saved items, in-app usage history
  • User-generated content unless legally required

Data retained

  • Transaction records (for tax/accounting)
  • Security logs (fraud prevention)
  • Backup data (isolated, deleted per schedule)

Retention periods

  • Most personal data: within 30 days
  • Transactions/legal records: up to 7 years
  • Security logs: up to 90 days

Important: Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Non-personal aggregated data may remain.
